The objective of the research is to understand — through the Theory of Planned Behavior — the factors that influence the students in using IT and to comprehend the dominating factor that influences them to use the IT. We use path analysis to analyze this data. We obtain the path analysis by regressing the model. Our study suggests that choice, need for skill- enhancement and social information influence the behavior belief of Malang Raya high school students to use IT indirectly and self-efficacy and attitude toward behavior influence the motivation to use IT directly. Moreover, the self efficacy is the dominant factor that has an effect on the intention to mastering of using IT.
