Abstract
Abstract This research focus to asses the effect of individual characteristics on work motivation and the performance of woman cooperative organizer in Malang city . Population are 90 people and using simple random sampling technique then get 30 respondents. Data collection methods using questionnaire. The results showed that the influence of individual characteristics on work motivation and respondent's performance had a positive effect. From the results of cross tabulation analysis of work motivation and performance based on individual characteristics indicate that certain individual characteristics describe high work motivation and certain individual characteristics describe good performance. The results of this study concluded that individual characteristics have a significant positive effect on motivation, individual characteristics have a positive effect significant to performance, and the motivation to influence individual characteristics is positively significant. With the results of this study, it is expected that cooperative managers can improve their abilities, needs, work experience so that they can increase work motivation and performance to be even better.18.118.226.105
